Kennewick has been my home for over 30 years. As a proud graduate of the Kennewick School District—having attended Vista Elementary, Highlands Middle School, and graduating from Kamiakin High School in 2001—I understand firsthand the value of a strong, community-centered public education.

My roots in this district run deep. I met my wife, Stephanie, at Kamiakin, and we’ve been married for almost 23 years. She’s not only my best friend, but also a dedicated 4th grade teacher in the Kennewick School District.

We’re raising three amazing kids who have also been a part of the KSD family. Olivia, our oldest, graduated from Kamiakin and is pursuing an elementary teaching degree. Danika graduated Southridge High School and plays on the Central Washington University soccer team. Bryce is an incoming Freshman at Southridge and an avid basketball/baseball player.

As a parent, former KSD employee, volunteer, and longtime resident, I bring a deeply invested and well-rounded perspective to the school board. It’s been an honor to serve as your School Board President, and I remain committed to putting students first, supporting our educators, and ensuring all families in Kennewick have access to high-quality education.

I’m running for re-election to continue advocating for our schools, championing transparency, and working collaboratively to build a bright future for every student in our district.
